I don't have much time to attend it, so it will be an experiment for a while.
In this post I'm going to talk about the "tweet" (or maybe better "tweets") as a new "in fact" measure unit used widely in messages, press, and by the young people around the world.
A Tweet is a chirping note made, supposed by a bird, and, nowadays is also the sort message - until 140 characters - that can be sent through the Twitter platform.
A Tweet can also include multimedia data: image, video, ... But people - I think - associates it to a short message sent through this platform.
Somethig that started as a brainstorming idea / startup / internal project of a company, nowaday is a widely used tool around the world, with lot of new features unthinkable in those days.
The money, globalization and new technologies that rules our socities have a great source of data (as a datawarehouse) feed continuously that can be used to analyze with data mining and business intelligence techniques and technologies.
Nowadays there are many robots (as a software applications) that use the tweets to analyze for example the socity of a city, election results, fashion tendencies, sport team supporters, ....
Tweets are managed along the time, and new derived measueres have appeared: like TPS (Tweets per second), TPM (Tweets per minute), TPH (Tweets per hour), TPD (Tweets per day), ...
